Scholarship Criteria

Applicant must be a resident of Missouri who is an African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, or Native American. Applicant must be a high school senior, college student, or returning adult (without a degree) who ranked in the top quarter of their high school class or scored at or above the 75th percentile on the ACT or SAT examination. College or university must have an approved teacher education program, which the recipient will be participating in.

Yes. Total amount borrowed from state of Missouri must be repaid if student fails to teach for five years in a Missouri public school or if they are not in an approved program.
