Colorado Technical University, a system of schools geared toward providing working adults with a real-world perspective on higher education and professional training, was founded in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1965 and has been under ownership of the Career Education Corporation since 2003.
Colorado Technical University by the accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. CTU maintains nonresidential, commuter campuses in three U.S. states. There are currently six physical campus locations in the Colorado Technical University family of schools, including CTUâs Institute for Advanced Studies.
