stay outdoors, lots of happy hours and bars. I don't go out too much i prefer to study. In our small town every weekend their's something going on. We have races, beer fest, tequilla fest, wine fest and great places nearby to check out.

CSUMB did not recognize the Greek system when I attended, however they may now. I have had many people tell them that the social atmosphere around the campus and neighboring cities was dismal to none, however I beg to differ. I played all four years on the Men's Soccer team and was team captain my junior and senior years. The program was roller coaster those years with many highs and a few lows, but my team was my band of brothers. Since we had such a tight group, we were always doing things together, and we made the best of every situation we were in. With all the hard work we would put in to preseason, season, and spring training, we knew that our free time as a college student was limited and that we needed to have fun with whatever we were doing. We would have beach days, ride mountain bikes on the back trails, golf, home run derby, video games, go downtown...there was always something to do. If you surround yourself with the right people CSUMB can give you a special experience that you will remember for years to come.
