Reviews for Niagara University
Niagara University is centered around Vincentian values as it applies to students in both an academic and social environment. Personally, I most enjoy the community aspect of Niagara University. Everyone is courteous and well involved in the events held around campus. As a prospective student, don't be afraid to go outside your comfort zone because there is so much offered at Niagara University and you don't want to miss out. My most memorable experience so far was the New Student Orientation where all the incoming Freshman competed in an olympic-type event with relays, dodgeball, and many other games.
Niagara University is a Liberal Arts school that makes its students a whole person both academically and extra-curricularly. The class have a maximum of 30 allowed, but class size averages around 20-24. Personally my smallest so far has been 10 students and the largest has been 25. The workload is very manageable and your professors know you on a name basis. Their office hours are very open and are always willing to help you achieve your goals.
Niagara University has a community atmosphere where everyone gets involved with every event possible. From Division 1 sporting events to Zumba parties in the gym, Niagara has a broad variety of events to get everyone involved. The clubs and organizations are very diverse and accepting to new students, including student government, the yearbook, psychology club, and many more. Weekends are filled with many events organized by campus activities to keep students involved and happy while they stay on campus. There is always food available and the atmosphere is exciting! Campus safety is very present on campus with desk monitors in the resident halls and checks on all the buildings regularly. Also, if you happen to be out on campus late or park far from your dorm, the campus officers are always available to provide a ride back to your resident hall for you.
