I love the small town atmosphere of the school. The professors get to know you on a personal level and I have been lucky enough to participate in volleyball. Many people complain, but this is the perfect place for me!
I just started College at DSU, but so far I really like the small campus atmosphere. I believe it provides students, like myself, to really get to know one another and also the facility. So far my most memorable experience is the water in Madison becoming contaminated by some roof collapsing somewhere in town, and not being able to use any water for two days! It was interesting going to class and seeing everybody with hats on of some sort, to cover up the unwashed hair!
