Reviews for The University of Toledo, Health Science Campus
University of Toledo has a great campus that is continuing to expand. I love the diversity and livliness of the school. There are an abundance of activities to join in at UT. There is something for everyone.
The class size is of an ordinary university class size for prerequisite classes. The professors range in personality and teaching methods. Some professors offer more help and questios than others. The work load is also of an average work load for incoming freshmen. Lot's of work must done.
The social atomosphere is what I enjoy most about the Unviersity of Toledo. Like I previously mentioned. The is aboslutely something for everyone with every interest to join in. The campus is pretty safe but not as secure as I would like. But no matter where you go, you'll always have to look out for yourself. Although UT isn't a division 1 in sports, it is very competitive in it's sports and attracts almost everyone on campus to events.
I think the University of Toledo health science campus is a great school. I am in the nursing progam and I haved learned so much. I have had wonderful teachers and I have yet to have a teacher that I did not like. I have realy enjoyed being on the campus with the hospital (UTMC) right on our campus. It is nice because we can have clinicals there and they even hire nursing students as nursing assistants, which is the best experience I think I have gotten in relation to my nursing career. Everything I have learned from these teachers and clincal insructors is going to help me to succeed in my career as an RN. Overall I am very glad I picked the Univeristy of Toledo.
The nursing program classes can be challenging sometimes. They take a lot of work and a lot of your time, but the professors are always willing to help you so that you can do better. The workload can be overwhelming with clinical, classes, and homework, but if you work hard and focus on school you will do just fine. The class size is nice becuase they excpet 80 student each semester and you will stay with those same people from your 2 years in the program. It is really nice to be able to be with the same people because you get to know them and you make friendships that could last a lifetime.
There are some areas of Toledo that may not be ideal, but the University of Toledo's health science campus has a pretty good location. There are plenty of restaurants and stores very close by and I have never not felt safe while on this campus. And I know that if there was ever a time when I did not feel safe I could call for a police escort to my car and there are also emergency buttons around the campus if you are in danger. I also feel safer because the campus police are actually police officers, and not just security gaurds. I commute from Michigan, so I do not know much about the night life or weekend activities, but I know that Toledo has a lot of popular clubs and bars for college students and they have a really nice malls with pretty much every store you could think of.
I am absolutly enjoying attending the university of toledo. The campus offers many great programs to choose from. Moreover, students at campus are very friendly and will offer to assist you if you need help. The campus is vey diverse and offers a safe enviorment even at night.
I am currently pursing a bachelor of science in resporatory therapy. It is a very intense and challenging program however, I have great instructors assisting me to be successful. The class size is very respectible with around 20 students.
The campus offers lots of variety of clubs and activity to choose from. The nightlife is fair to be honest but, campus security is excellent. The school is not known for athletics however, the football program is growing.
