Reviews for Quinnipiac University, Hamden
It is great. I got to make lots of friends and learned a lot.
Class size is perfect, but workload and professors depend on the subject.
I got the opportunity to join many organizations.
I enjoyed my time at Quinnipiac very much. Was sad that it had to end - the communications programs keep growing at QU, and I'd recommend them to anyone interested in online media. The professors are very helpful, and the curriculum is always evolving, which is a good thing when it comes to digital media - technology is constantly changing, and schools need to keep up with that. QU does a pretty good job of it.
Courses were a good mix of journalism and film/media students. The curriculum emphasizes creation of online content. I, unlike many students, came from a technical background, so I was able to tailor my program according to my interests - I combined my aptitude for design and filmmaking with my background in computer programming.
Campus life was not really applicable to me - I was a graduate student who commuted from home. The campus, though, is beautiful, and the facilities are top-notch. The school has expanded in recent years - there is a new campus up the road with buildings that are breathtaking.
