Overall

Overall, I was extremely happy that I made the choice to attend Tarrant County College District. Both the faculty and students were very helpful in getting adjusted to a new environment. I advise any new students to attend the orientation to get acquainted with the resources and campus.

Academics

The professor I had this last semester was excellent. She was very relatable and informative. Class schedules are flexible with morning and night classes, as well as distance learning through online programs.

Campus Facilities & Safety

I felt very comfortable at the TCCD south campus. They have excellent resources and everyone is quick to point you in the right direction. I was able to quickly get my parking permit and make it to class ontime. Each time I visit the campus, the campus police are very visible and patrolling the area.

Overall

I think this school is exactly what I've been looking for since I graduated from high school. It has everything I need for my intended major. Before I came to Tarrant County, I felt as if I was wasting my time.

Academics

Right now, my classes are Police Administration and Spanish. They are both very fun and interesting. Right now, they are also pretty simple; easy lessons, nice professors, and a fair amount of studying.

Campus Facilities & Safety

For junior colleges, Tarrant County has the biggest campus I've ever seen. It isn't too far stretched out, but still has a fair distance between each class. The scenery is very beautiful, and the campus helps to give me an amount of exercise each day.

Overall

Overall, the campus is a very warm and open environment. The people are friendly and very helpful, the classes are challenging but not overbearing, and the faculty are more than willing to take time to help you when you need it. So far, I have enjoyed my time here and hope to get my degree on this campus.

Academics

The classes I am currently enrolled in are well balanced with a good workload. The professors go over the important topics and will stop the lecture to answer any questions. The best part is that none of my classes have more than thirty students, with the average at around twenty. It's very relaxing and each student has a better chance of getting help.

Campus Facilities & Safety

The campus itself is clean, open, covered in well groomed trees, and each building is separate by a nice walking trail. Most days, there are birds and squirrels on the paths, asking to be fed. I haven't been to any of the facilities except for the library, but it is huge and there are a lot of good sources to be found.

Overall

The school is very social. There are many different kinds of students there. Everyone seemed so happy to be at school. Normally students get bored of high school and don't want to wake up for school but the students there seemed ready to get education and ready to be something in life. Very anxious!

Academics

The classrooms were spacious and their scheduling for classes are very flexible which is what I think every student needs just in case they work or have other things to do. They also offer VERY good programs/classes. They give you just enough information to take in for that day and to go home and study for. My visit there makes me want to go there IMMEDIATELY/AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Campus Facilities & Safety

Parking lot was big enough for everyone to have parking. Their may have been a few kids that ride their bikes to get education and so they had bike racks there as well. The computer labs were very up-to-part and the safety of the campus was actually highly. Some campuses have poor safety. There I felt like it was safe enough for to go there. The facility was very clean and fresh.

Overall

I have only visited the Northwest Campus and liked it overall. It is a nice facility and is going to allow me to get my grades to where they need to be this fall in order to be accepted at The University of North Texas (UNT).

Academics

I have not yet taken any classes there. I am a high school senior who will be attending this fall (2013). I do however, look extremely forward to getting started and hope to accomplish my goal to be able to attend UNT in the spring of 2014.

Campus Facilities & Safety

The campus is generally small but seems extremely spacious for a community college. The grounds are very neatly landscaped and clean. There is ample parking and the entire campus is easily accessible.
