Overall

The school offers great degree programs and many ways to achieve each individual's degree of choice. From the classroom setting to taking each class online, Ivy Tech Community College offers the best variety that appeals to anyone seeing admission to the college.

Academics

My current classes and degree program I am working towards are all offered online. I am considered a distance learning student because all of my school work is done from the comfort of my home at any time of the day that is convenient for my schedule. The professors are great and are easy to communicate with should a conflict arise. The workload is comparable to the classroom workload, and averages to about 2-3 hours per class per week. One of the great things about the distance learning classes is that many are offered in a 16 week session or 8 week sessions.

Campus Facilities & Safety

I have been taking classes online for the past two years, so I am not current with the campus facilities, parking, safety, or computer labs. When I was pursuing my nursing degree three years ago, the atmosphere was relaxed and the facilities were clean and acceptable for an educational campus. There was plenty of parking for everyone on campus, and there was always security in the lobby incase assistance was needed.
