Overall

I love the campus! It is absolutely beautiful. I was overwhelmed by how huge it was, especially since I came from a community college. I feel more comfortable there now and it is beginning to feel like home!

Academics

I've been though 2 full semesters so far, and for the most part, I've loved my classes. There are some classes that have ridiculous amounts of work and professors that are not lenient at all, but what school doesn't have it's bad apples?

College Life

The atmosphere is great! Everyone is so friendly and you can always find a welcome and diverse event on campus. My favorite events are the live shows and movie screenings. So fun! There are hundreds of clubs and organizations to choose from. And the Sac State Hornets sports teams are amazing!

Overall

This school has one of the best campuses out of all the Cal States in my opinion. It is absolutely beautiful in the spring and there are many places around campus to lounge around, study, or catch up with friends. Also, the food on campus is pretty decent, which is a good thing if you plan to live on campus.

Academics

The small sizes of most of my classes at CSUS was something i enjoyed most about attending. Also, there were so many class subject options offered, and I got to take some abnormal but interesting courses to fulfill the general education requirements. For example, I took a course titled Magic, WitchCraft and Religion, which was very interesting.

College Life

The student life at CSUS has a little something for everyone which is a great thing. The football games are fun and the Student Union always has activities going on. Greek Life is also very present on the campus. For the most part students are very friendly on campus.

Overall

During the summer of 2012 I toured California State University in Sacramento, California and I thought it was a very enjoyable experience. This particular university had very well maintained facilities and it seemed as though the students that were attending classes there really enjoyed their experiences. As a junior in high school I have been considering this school for college and after completing my tour of CSUS I plan on applying there after finishing high school. California State University has many opportunities to broaden your horizons with the various clubs and organizations they offer and personally, I found this college to be one of the best I have toured so far.

Academics

I am not currently attending California State University so I can't tell you first hand knowledge about certain aspects of this school but from what I was able to see, this school offers a wide variety of classes/programs. When I attend college I plan on becoming a high school teacher. CSUS will give me the necessary level of education I need to reach my career goals. I look forward to applying to California State University in the Fall of 2014, I also look forward to the career they can help me obtain afterwards.

College Life

When I toured California State University I had the advantage of being shown around by a CSUS senior, he was able to tell me his real life encounters with this school. The people that surrounded me as I walked the courtyard were all very friendly and the professors were welcoming. We were told about the wide array of clubs and organizations they offer as well as sports teams. This school had many facilities and a beautiful campus full of trees and squirrels, it was all protected by campus security with multiple "help stations" that allowed you to quickly alert the authorities if something were to happen to you or someone around you. The environment was such a health, happy one, everyone seemed to love their surroundings as well as each other.
