Overall

One thing that i like most about going to school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is that there is a friendly atmosphere in the dorms. One memorable experience is a golf tournament that my friend and I entered. This was memorable because we had so much fun and and did better than I thought we would.

Academics

There are many different courses and programs that can be taken for lots of different majors. The professors and T.A. are great at teaching and are very helpful if you need extra tutoring. The class sizes varies from a small classroom to a lecture size. The workload is not too little but also not too much.

College Life

There are tons of weekend activities and games to attend. The atmosphere of the campus is friendly and invitng. Everyone is friendly and it is easy to make new friends. I am not currently in any clubs, but some of my friends have told me how great the clubs are.

Overall

The summers at the University of Hawaii are amazing. Professors from the Ivy League schools come to teach so they can summer there. One is able to have classes from professors of Harvard and Yale without having to pay the Ivy League prices.

Academics

The classes are mostly smaller with only the very low introductory levels being over 40 students or more. Most of my classes were much lighter on the writing and heavier on the book and lecture knowledge.

College Life

Hawaii is a lovely place to study. The social life outside the campus is extensive and fun. There are so many outside activities to participate in that one has to really be focused and prepared to study.

This school is so beauitiful and full of life. The campus is placed in a scenic area and has the most welcoming staff and students. The school is very clean and I also love the food that is offered. The sporting events are also awesome and the pridet that is taken in this school is the best I have ever seen.

Academics

The acedemic's at this school is very advanced and I learn a lot from my professors. The professors are also very helpful when it comes to understanding new material. The work load is never too much to handle but one must stay focused.

College Life

College life is awesome. You meet new people everyday and there is a club for everything. The weekend activity is very live and there is always something to do. The athletics is impressive and I love that the school has a swim team.

Overall

Overalll I thought this was a great school. They do so much for their students and they really care for them. During finals week they give out a bunch of free dinners, free lunches, free massages, just about anything you can think of. They really want you to feel right at home. I liked how they had many options on their meal plan. The food was great. The diversity of the college students was amazing. Everyone seemed very calm on the campus. I loved touring the freshman towers, I also like the rules they give their students for the dorms, not to strict but enough rules to keep everything in order.

Academics

When I toured this school I noticed some of the classrooms weren't too full and I like that. It gives you a better chance to learn. They have different halls for each subject, I thought that was interesting. I hear they have a great business and international program, they also have a great marine biology program and nutritionist program along with.

College Life

My favorite part of the tour was the atmosphere. It's a indoor and outdoor campus, which I fell in love with! I like how you're always outside getting fresh air coming from an indoor classroom. I hear they're building a new recreational center for the students. And the amount of clubs they have is outrageous! I play volleyball and I know they have an awesome volleyball team. The weekend life for UH Manoa consists of everyone going to the beach. The campus safety seems really content. At night if you're trying to go to your dorms, you can call their campus security to escort you to the dorms or wherever you need. I also love how they give you a bus pass and you can go on any bus ride for free. Great school.
