Athletic games were awesome! Great atmosphere in the spectrum or Romney field. I love the professors dedication and help. There's everything from horseback riding to labs. Get involved for a better experience! Join one of the thousands of clubs.

Academics

Class size in your major are prefect about 10-25 ppl. The general eds are extremely large so take advantage of free tutoring and help outside of class. Plenty of tutoring opportunities. There's a huge amount of majors and programs to choose from and the advisors can help make any degree you want work. BMW of my professors have given a large amount if homework at once.

College Life

Many activities come to Logan. We have famous bands come play, local band nights, sports, all you have to do is look and you'll find adds telling you about all the frat parties and fun activities around campus. We are close to a beautiful bear lake, canyons, dams and multiple wonderful outdoor activities. There's a ropes course and many parks in town and ski resorts all around.

Everybody you meet is very kind and willing to help if you ask for it. The problems I ran into were actually asking for help, but once I did I found the answers to my questions. I loved all the activities that were available around campus and all the clubs that you could join at anytime. Everyone wanted to get involved and the clubs were open to anyone joining them. I went to the ethnic club full of Native Americans and Latinos, I was the only white girl there, but they all just let me join in and feel welcomed as anyone else. The best way for people to really enjoy their experience at USU is to get involved in student life and visit your adviser often to discuss the path you wish to take.

Academics

The classes offered at USU are really good. I have been lucky enough to get into some classes with amazing professors. My experience is in the Humanities and Social Sciences classes, but all the professors were passionate and made you love their subject as well. Even some classes that should have been dull and dry, such as Urban History or Modern History survey, were entirely captivating due to the enthusiasm of the professors. The classes are generally big enough that you can come and listen if that is your style of learning but small enough that if you're a talker there is ample opportunity. Professors are always willing to work with you in order to get your work done so long as you talk to them about the issues you are having.

College Life

There are always clubs or colleges having a booth set up somewhere on campus letting you know about the activities that they will be holding that week or year. USU has awesome yearly traditions such as the Howl during Halloween, an awesome week of activities for the first week of school and homecoming. Intramural sports or college sports are every weekend with a bash somewhere on campus to celebrate and support the Aggies. True Aggie night is every semester and full moon, that always pulls a crowd. It gets dark around campus at five during most of the school year, but there are lights everywhere and emergency buttons that summon police if you don't feel safe. There is also a police escort that is available to any student at any time, however, most people feel completely safe in Logan and rarely need these services.

Overall

Overall Utah State is an excellent university, otherwise I would not have chosen to go there next fall. I look forward to learning more about the college but some of my favorite parts are the professors I've met so far, the nightlife I've already had the chance to take part in, and the extremely friendly student. There is nothing to fear in visiting this school for the first time because you will be immediately welcomed by students just like you belong there with them. Another great part of this college is the school pride. Never have I seen so much pride in an academic facility but boy is it amazing to see.

Academics

Although I have not taken any classes from the university itself yet, everything I've heard and learned seems quite impressive. From what I have been told on tours, the professors are very personal and love their students. Class sizes may start out big but once you get into your major they become much more personal. This was one of the biggest deciding factors for me because I want to go to a school where I can really learn and not be distracted by bad professors or anything like that.

College Life

Already from being on campus several times I've gotten to take part in many activities. Basketball games are the craziest. The pride the school shows their is amazing and I loved being a part of it. Also I've already got my eye on several clubs for my first year since they have such a wide variety to choose from I've already found that I may fit into quite a few. The social atmosphere is friendly and warm-hearted from just about everyone you meet. There hasn't been a single person I've met who was rude or seemed annoyed by me, I loved being there and look forward to next fall.

When I went up o visit this school, I loved how friendly everyone was. They showed me around and really helped me to get a feel for the school. I learned a lot about the college and met some amazing people.

Academics

The classes that I visited look tailored to the students. I have also taken classes online from this school though my high school. I really enjoyed those classes and learned a lot through them. The teachers were really helpful; anytime I had a question they answered it promptly. They were really instrumental in my learning. I simply loved the classes I have taken through this college.

College Life

I also visited and talked to some students who were a part of some various organizations. They were really amazing when they explained each of their groups. I loved how close everyone in each of the groups was. You could tell that they had become a family and were very close. The athletic teams at this college looked amazinf. I run track with my high school and when I was looking at colleges this is one of the ones I considered. I love how close and friendly everyone was and the huge family that they had become.
