Overall

To start off basically this is a great school for anyone to attend. I have crossed no problems what so ever. Classes are not hard to find at all. Everything is around for your for your convience. I will stay all four years.

Academics

First day of school, normally you see people running around asking where this and that is. Or can you show me how to get to this building but before the first day everyone was walking around looking for there classes to prepare for tomorrow. Professors are decent at most as long as you pay attention be early and take notes. Classes fill up fairly fast so get yous schedule as soon as possible. Classes are average at best.

College Life

The atmosphere is wonderful once you unpack your stuff you feel right at home. They have any and everything you could ask for clubs, organizations, athletics and weekend activities are a major plus. Campus safety are on 24 hour watch so theres really nothing to stress about.

Texas Southern University is a African-American college witha lot of history, its beginningback to fall 1925, when Wiley College, located in Marshall, Texas, established classes in Houston, during theecond year 1925-27, the school moved to the New Jack Yates, therfore since 1947 to present (TSU) HAS BEEN THE GOAL AND REWARD If a education to deserving students.

Academics

my African - American Literature class is on the best subject you can, who ever read this if you decide to come to (TSU), Please take Prof; Linda-Johnson -Burgess, she is a great prof, old school , fun and you do not like to miss her class, they are always great ,her favorite words or toosie roll, toosie roll. ,the workload is very light, class size about 50 to 60 students, se you at TSU.

College Life

Overall

Enjoyed the athletic teams and activity. The school needs to increase its professional qualification of staff.

Academics

Average work load. the retention rate is low because there are not many resources available to help you succeed. You must be a self starter and self motivated to complete there programs. class sizes are normally large not allowing one on one time for those who need extra help and again out of class resources are not readily available for students

College Life

the different organizations make student life fun. I especially enjoyed the sport activities . campus safety is average as any other.

Please, save your money, your time, and effort. The falculty, students, Professors, deans, chair, provost, President are all good for nothing! Save yourself while you can. Do not go here. The chemistry department is the worst of all. All filled with egoistic people, who are crabs in a bucket.

Academics

Don’t bother going to this school, not worth running into a professor that makes you go above and beyond, just to degrade you, use you, and bash you. This isn’t just a personal review, I speak for a lot of my scholars who have experienced this, and more. Not worth it especially for Dr Sodipe and Dr Sonya Goods courses. Do not take. Fire these professors while the school is still up and running.

College Life

The campus has bums, randoms, and drug abuse going on throughout the year. There’s always a break in somewhere, a robbery, or a shooting. And at least 2 deaths in the fall due to one or more of the following above. Do not go here!
