Overall

The school I just started attending is great. Everyone is respectful. The staff is quick and efficient to help a student. The school police is always patrol in. It's not over crowded. The professor that I had for my first semester was amazing. I enjoy attending so far. For future student, as soon as the start their enrollment they will se how easy and quick it is thanks to the staff.

Academics

So far my first semester has been great. Not a crowded class and an excellent professor. The classmates that I had where great and dedicated to the class because of the professor. Workload was enough and very helpful for the exams.

College Life

It's my first semester. Campus is safe theirs alway school police patrol in. I have not had a chance to explore clubs, organizations or the athletic department. The social atmosphere looks great. I met a few people in class. They made it easy and enjoyable to come to class.

Overall

I am a much older student. I had always heard these nightmare stories about professors, but mostly they came from the younger people. I found that the professors at CSN really want the student to succeed.

Academics

I have a fulltime job, I am taking 2 classes (English and Sociology) and volunteer 4 hours a week. Both classes seem to be very full of students. Both professors are engaging and involved in the students.

College Life

I dont partticpate in much of the campus life since I have a very full schedule. I am not aware that CSN has an athletics department. When I am on campus the students seem to be happy to be there and enjoy the atmosphere.

Overall

Constant problems with enrolling for classes, financial aid and help from school sucks royally. Would not recommend this school to anyone. No one knows what they are doing and are not qualified to handle anyones financial aid. Feel that personal information is not confidental especially in financial aid services.Who works in financail aid/Students or Facalty?

Academics

Poorly organized and impossible to enroll most of the time in classes that you want. Thjs school has a lot of problems and is poorly run. Many students are constantly having financial aid problems becaues financial aid does not have qualified personal handling the office.

College Life

Don't like the atmosphere or unorganizational aspects of the entire campus, Poorly organized and impossible to enroll most of the time in classes that you want. Thjs school has a lot of problems and is poorly run. Many students are constantly having financial aid problems becaues financial aid does not have qualified personal handling the office.

Overall

My brother goes to CSN and my perspective is If you want to go to college for less, start here. They have a transfer program which is way more affordable than taking your prerequisites classes at UNLV. There is a new library that has been crammed with as much computers as they could possibly fit. While there are places to eat on campus, there are many affordable choices close by, like Denny's which is just across the street! There are programs where they do not offer anywhere else in Nevada that are affordable. I've never been in a tour around the campus but i would love to!

Academics

From what my brother told me, all the teachers are pretty nice and have helped him a lot; personaly and profesionally. There is cheap, affordable classes with great teachers. At UNLV you'll probably get some Student aid teacher that's finishing their graduate. Not a REAL professor with years under their belt, but CSN does. Oddly the community college has better professors than a university. I know CSN has the best program for Ultrasound Technician than any other school in Las Vegas.

College Life

It looks like a nice peaceful place to study at. The campus looks safe and I'm sure they have many activitues, clubs, organizations ect i would love to join. I have always liked to be involved in my school and i have lots of school spirit! You should always represent and be proud of where you go to college.

Overall

I believe this school has a lot to offer me, everyone is friendly and willing to help that's what I enjoy most about this school. The fact that I can live on campus and eat have a home available to me is one of its best features. My most memorable experience was walking into a lecture, and everyone was so into what the teacher was saying, he made the class fun and meaningful. Everyone in the class wanted to show me what they were learning, and showing me how much fun it is and how much they love their teachers which really make this school even better for me.

Academics

I do not attend school just yet I am looking in to starting as soon as possible. But they appear to be mixed, with lots of lively adults. The professors seem nice and willing to help you with anything you ask for, they might put everyone to work n work hard but as it goes you have to work hard to make it in life. The class sizes are pretty reasonable nice size for a nice group of people. There aren't as many students as one would think in a room but there is plenty of help (if needed) and plenty of resources.

College Life

The social atmosphere is divirce and everyone seems to get along well. Everything looks safe and well put together. The activities look fun and very competitive. They have all kinds of spots school activities study groups and all are open to everyone and anyone. They seem to be the kind and willing to help a person out with almost anything, their guidance around campus was greatly appreciated and I even learned some new things not even attending the school yet. Overall I had a great time for the little bit of time I had on campus and would love to return again very soon.
