Overall

Go to classes. Take the interesting ones. Not the ones you think will be "good for your major." Sit out in the quad. Go to every football and basketball game. Live in a dorm. Don't charge Dominos to your OneCard. Don't let people studying in Davis stress you out. Find your own place to study. Party.

Academics

Class sizes get better the deeper you get into your major - which is good. That's when you figure out that you're really into what you're studying anyway. Professors are as accessible as you want them to be. But it's up to you. TA's will always be a pain and will always think they are too smart for you.

College Life

Greeks rule. Join one. Don't. But be happy with your choice not pressured. Athletics? Are you kidding? They're the best. And it's fine to dress like a true sports fan. There are tons of things to join and meet people. Seek things out - they are there for the taking.

Overall

Great place to open your horizons and come in contact with lots of different opportunities. Great school spirit and sense of community. Great academic programs. Extracurricular activities were very rewarding, both from a professional development and personal gratification.

Academics

Broad curriculum. Challenging classes and engaging professors. Humanities were emphasized, with a great respect for all endeavors. Workload was reasonable, but did require discipline. Class sizes could be large, particularly in the first two years of study.

College Life

Wow, great sense of school community! Athletics were uniting and always weekend activities. Safety could have been improved 20 years ago (and probably has been). Music, the arts, sports clubs, greek life, all were very popular. There was truly some way for everyone to get involved.

Overall

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has the nicest campus I have ever visited. The campus is not too big, but has everything anyone can ever need. I went to one of the Tar Heel basketball games and compared it to the games I would go to back at home in Miami. There is no comparison what so ever because of how much the people there love there team. The school also has so many traditions that if you have a chance you should be involved in. The school is just all around amazing!

Academics

The classes at this university can be large but can also be small. Although it does not really matter due to the professor's capabilities to keep the student's minds on task. Even though the workload is tough, it does prepare you for the real world as many like to call it.

College Life

While at the campus of this university you notice that everything seems very comfortable. You feel as if you fit right in with everyone mostly due to the campus safety. There are lots of activities going on at all times. Worrying about getting homesick is not an issue with everything that there is to do and all the people that there is to meet.

Overall

The school is very deeply rooted historically and in its community. It sets a near ivy-league standard for its students and offers almost anything an acredited university is able. The school's atmosphere is welcoming and friendly with its students seeking to do good for the world we all are a part of.

Academics

The school sets high academic standards, which includes challenging and thought-provoking courses. The classes push outside-of-the-box thinking but professors are never too far away to help despite class size. The workload is large but managable and options to study abroad and perform class-related projects are always open.

College Life

The campus offers nearly a hundred different clubs and organizations, from entertaining to community-changing. The town is situated in the heart of the triad, making it ideal for entertainment. Athletics are also key in the university's heart as they are national championship winning. The entire spirit of the campus is high and respectable.
