Reviews for Virginia Wesleyan University
The school is great, it has many oppportunities with clubs and orginizations and greek life! the housing is OK... it could be better but you only have to sleep there! The staff is great and very helpful, we also have a leaning center which is free tutoring and a computer lab. The school has two 24hr computer labs, one in the library and on in Clarke hall. The food depands on the day you could get a crap dinner but then you could just eat cereal or a PB&J. You will definitley meet some great people and have long lasting frendships! There are some disadvantages but the advantages will out weigh them.
The class sizes are very small considering we are a small school. The professors make their classes very hands-on. We have many programs to fit you and tons of financial aid to help you through it. The workload can be tough depending on what classes you take.
The nightlife is great if you know where to go. The townhouses are great for parties and there are many clubs around in Norfolk and the oceanfront in Virginia beach. They have many activities including the mud games the glow party and the foam party. There is always something going on in the batten center whether it is climbing the rock wall or listening to a comedy show.
This school is ok. It is very small and the food is horrible. But you can meet good poeple and make great friends because it is so small. The food off campus is good and there is a lot around the campus.
The classes are small and the professors make time for you and they get to know you. The class sizes are normally not bigger than 20 people in one class. There isn't too much work, you always have time to do all the work on time.
The ocean front is close and there are clubs there that are clean and safe. Our athletics especially our basketball team is big at our school. There aren't that many parties or anything that happens on the weekend. You pretty much just sit in your room with some friends and watch movies.
