I would say that I like this school because it has a per month format. My favorite advisor in this school is Alejendra . She is very nice , polite and very helpful. She belongs to international student department.she saves my two months and even spend time after her office hours so that with fast processing I Donot have to wait and I can get in to classes.I m very grateful to her. I am very thankful to this university.

Academics

students have to be very careful and totally motivated toward their studies as it has a per month format. Professors teaching a really good way.classrooms are not too packed so students have the opppurrtunity to clear their doubts wih professors. One suggestion for this university Is that they need to provide interns to international students and help them to get CPT and need to expand opportunities for public health students.

College Life

Campus life is gud. There is an international student club . They always have weekend activities .This helps international students to know each other and to know that there are other student who came oversees for their studies, leaving their families back. This keeps. Away from home sickness.

I like how I was able to excel in my learning and graduate faster. It was a very self-disciplined school and allowed me to develop skills that were important for every day working environments. I also had the freedom to work in the daytime and go to school at night.

Academics

classes changed month to month. The workload was consistent from each subject and allowed a collaboration with other students, but also had mandatory presentations which helped me remove my fear from presenting to my colleagues. The professors were in my field of study and provided great personal knowledge in addition to text book learning.

College Life

not really as relevant given the classes were night and weekend classes. We did meet as students afterwards at times but not often. Safety was good - security present each night. We did not have sports at the time I attended, and organizations were not offered other than within class and groups we established.

National University was designed for military personnel (Navy) to secure a college degree while on active duty. Based on this criteria, it was an effective school and the instructors were real world professional that understood the theory and its functional applications.

Academics

After working all day, then you went to school from five oclock until ten oclock four nights a week and all day Saturday. It was demanding and time consuming but it taught time management and the abilty to learn quickly. The other negative was not being able to get through the full book that costed so much each quarter.

College Life

There were no clubs, organizations, or sports at the campus. In addition, with classes taking place at various locations throughout the San Diego area at the time, it was difficult to coordinate any sort of activity with fellow students. This is one aspect of my education at National University I wish we had. Now, there are never any get together with school mates. Now with networking being such a key in business, the ability to have established more relationships would have been benefitual.

Diversity of students attending the university is a plus. I can pursue my own creative thinking and still everyone appreciates my diversity. I know a teacher of mine who graduated from this university and had mentioned that you will never feel that you are away from home, because the university has that awe feeling of making you a part of the campus. He mentioned that National University was the place that he found his future wife which coincidentally was from the same island. At first, he was hesistant to ask her out because he thought that academics must come first before relationship. At this time, he was majoring in Sociology. He was adamant about finding a relationship at this particular university that one of his professor told him that he will know if it is the right time for him to seek relationship. In conclusion, the relationship you will encounter as he has explained to me is that everyone is willing to help you succeed including finding that relationship you desparately seeking. He was amazed of the services the university offered to all students which he was struggling with English which one of the tutor became his best friend throughout his college years and still maintain relationship. The courteous of the professors that he encountered was eminent that he wonders if they have personal life or only academic life. Little did he know that he found out that some are married to each other, but don't carry the last name. His experience at National University was amicable and interesting. He owed the university his current life in helping his people back home which he did served as the Governor of the island. Changes were made in baby steps, but reminded them that time is changing and that everything is globalize which their country must compete with technological development.

Academics

professors treat you as their own children that they encourage students to exceed their potential. If you failed a class test or assignment, they will find ways to assist you that you pass the next one. Past time of drinking coffee or latte, the professors or mentors find time to test their students when they see them at the eatery or bar place. My former teacher said that sometimes they stay overnight if they need to if permitted to make sure that the student submit a good paper or study for an exam or test.

College Life

The campus is a cozy and vibrant in most aspect of a college student. The college student has other opportunities to take such as part-time work on campus and off-campus. There are alot of clubs and organizations a college student can join as means of meeting other college students. The campus safety is good which you can see the security guards almost everywhere on the campus during the daytime and night timee. Sports is envitable in a college student to maintain good mental capabilities and emotional strength which a college student can join for a competition as a group or an individual. For weekends, my former teacher mentioned that you can still avail for services such as the library or the eatery places.

I like National and i believe its a college that is constantly revolving positively to enhance effective study environment. The school has added new classes, bigger parking lot, more teachers, and more amenities.

Academics

The classes and teachers are very friendly, polite, helpful and willing to help. The counseling departments are so willing to help, at all times. and will even take the time to show you helpful resources.

College Life

Campus has been totally transformed from what it used to be 5-6 years ago for the best. The safety of students is great. There is more lighting in the parking lot, more patrol cars to go around, more shuttles to help if too far or too tired to walk.
