Arizona State is a great school that does not get the credit it deserves. Its academic programs are very strong and are filled with professors who actually care about the success of their students. Additionally, there are a ton of opportunities for undergraduate research, even as a freshman. Arizona State also provides a fun atmosphere filled with tons of people, which makes it easy to find people with similar interests and passions. Since ASU is such a large university, it is very important to find something to get involved in. Whether it be a club, student government, sports, or Greek life, get involved!!! This will make the large university feel smaller and allow you to meet others with similar interests. For me, joining Greek life was one of the best decisions I made as a freshman. I have met so many amazing people and have been given so many opportunities through my sorority. As an out of state student I did not know anyone going into the school year but through Greek life I made tons of new friends whom I would not have met otherwise.

You can obtain a phenomenal education from this school. Unlike small private schools, a solid educational plan will not be laid out for you. Having to design your own plan is a far better experience.
