Reviews for Richland Community College
I have enjoyed my overall R.C.C. experience. The school offers a wide variety of courses, for many different career paths. They are a very hands on school, they do not mind getting deep into classroom labs. The classes actually fill up very quickly, so, if you want to have a good choice on classes, sign up early! one exceptional experience I had was with my English professor. I had been taking a Saturday course and towards the end of the semester my babysitter canceled leaving me out to dry. My professor was kind enough to take time out during the week to give me a 1 on 1 class so that I didn't have to drop the course. Whew!
The professors at R.C.C. are exceptional. Many have a professional degree. They are more than willing to go the extra mile to help you to succeed in your life goal of a further education. Classes very in size from as small as 15 students to the range of about 30. That means one gets a very close bond built between student and professor. The homework is average. They don't cram it down your throat, giving you enough time to finish large and small projects alike.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus is great. There are many clubs and organizations to get involved in. The even have a great gym! The computer labs are excellent and there are a number of them depending on which end of the campus you are on. The parking is good for the most part, but to get a close space you want to arrive early. I wasn't big into the clubs and organizations but through my hard work I did manage to make it into Phi Theta Kappa!
