About Hilbert College, Hamburg

Hilbert College is committed to educating and nurturing students of all ages and backgrounds, both intellectually and spiritually.

Located in Hamburg, New York, Hilbert is a small, private Catholic college that offers academics in liberal arts and professional studies, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Business, Forensic Science, English, Humanities, Paralegal Studies and Psychology are some of the subject areas offered at the undergraduate level.

Hilbert also offers master's degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Administration.

Committed to serving students regardless of age, Hilbert admits a large number of adults. Since classes are a combination of adult learners and those just out of high school, the learning environment is diverse.

Because it is a Catholic school, campus ministry activities are a large part of Hilbert's student life. Hilbert holds interfaith activities welcoming students of all faiths. Hilbert also supports students through spiritual counseling, offers on-campus worship, and encourages service within the community.

Other student life options at Hilbert include athletic teams, Greek organizations, multicultural and art-based student clubs as well as a student literary magazine and school newspaper.

Freshman admission to Hilbert is based on grades, talents and ability as well as one's personal character. SAT or ACT scores are not required.

Financial aid is available to help eligible students pay for tuition as well as on campus housing and other fees.

Overall Rating

I Have been through a lot with hilbert college, academic probation, being stalked on campus, a nasty case of bed bugs, dining room mix up's, unwanted guest, stolen foods/ material goods, problems with other students, intuition expenses, and much more and yet altogether I wouldn't trade any of those previously mentioned hassles for anything because hilbert college intuition has given me a solid educational structure alongside a set of academic skills that have shaped me into the individual that I am today.
