About UOG

When you hear the phrase “public university,” you might think of a huge school where it’s easy to get lost in a crowd. That isn’t the case at the University of Guam.

Though it is a public land grant university, the University of Guam has an enrollment of less than 3,500. This makes college life at the university much more intimate and close-knit than at other public universities in the U.S.

University of Guam offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate academics through the following divisions:

  • College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences
  • College of Natural & Applied Sciences
  • School of Business & Public Administration
  • School of Education
  • School of Nursing & Health Sciences

In addition to its main academic programs, University of Guam offers plenty of educational opportunities for the community. Centers and activities like Theatre Camp, Sports Camp and the English Language Institute provide a chance for local residents to enrich the quality of their lives through education.

Admissions at University of Guam depend on the type of applicant. For example, graduate programs have more rigorous admissions requirements than undergraduate programs. Similarly, scholarships and other financial aid may vary based on the program you choose.

Overall Rating

This is my first year in the University of Guam, and overall I would say transferring to University of Guam was one of the best decision I ever made. All the facilities they have, the library, Marc center, computer lab, were all helpful for me when I am doing studies.
