Overall
The school, Borough of Manhattan Community College, is a great community college. It is convenient to get to, classes are quite flexible, the staff and professors are mostly very kind and helpful. Also, it has different kind of groups of people there. It has a lot of student events including Asian Month, African Month, and so on. The school is big and has a lot of resources that can help students like computer labs, printing labs, library, and even several buildings. In conclusion, BMCC is a school that offers every resource and fits your needs and schedule.
Academics
I am in the program Mathematics. I found every staff and professor are very nice and helpful to students, whoever they are math major or not. Professors would provide individual study for students who need it. Also, like other classes in BMCC, there are a lot of math classes provided by the math department, very flexible. Depends on which professor students choose, we have different workload, but I found they were all very helpful for understanding the materials in class. It wouldn't be too much. And according what classes students in, the class size is varied, it may be 10 students to 20 students.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The best place for study in BMCC is the library. It is quiet and has a lot of resources. Meanwhile, one can always find someone has the same interest in the cafe. The school has several computer labs that provide students internet and printing. Also, in the second floor of the library, one can always find tutor for English, Speech, Writing. In the math lab, one can find math tutors and in the science lab, on can find science tutors. BMCC has a lot of students organizations, including sports, chess, business, and so on. BMCC is in the TRIBECA area of New York City, therefore the safety is the priority of the school.

Overall
Good qualities include: flexibility in class schedule, the professors are very helpful and go the extra mile with students. Bad qualities: Communication (except among professors) stinks! For simple issues, I have had to speak with 3-4 people to have it resolved. I'm "assigned" an advisor I've never met who has chosen my classes for me. Now that I'm entering my second semester, I'm being forced to schedule an appointment with my "advisor" before I can register. No one (again, except professors) responds to emails or returns phone calls. I'm sure I'm not the only person having this issue since this is happening with many departments/people.
Academics
I have taken both Intro to Speech and Introduction to Literature via online classes. I have never been a fan of English or public speaking; however, I really enjoyed these courses. The professors have been excellent.
Campus Facilities & Safety
I have only had online classes, so I have not taken advantage of computer labs, organizations, parking, etc.

Overall
Overall the school seems like a very good school I am considering attending. I like that its a small school and close to my community. It has my major and just the enviroment its self is perfect for me. While on tour the conductor was explaining how their is lots of help that you can get just by going to the library. Theres all sorts of accessible information that you can get help, its just like a community every body is there to help.
Academics
Amongs all their programs Nuring is the most favorable to me. Not only does it admits on an average of 81 students each semester it also offers both day and evening/weekend classes. They promote high standards of educational excellence, by offering all students support services and faculty mentoring, as they progress in their comprehensive programs.
Campus Facilities & Safety
The campus atmospere is very mellow the facilities are small and clean. Theres many different buildings so its very organized. BMCC provides a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for students. The quite facilites help students stay focused diligent.
