About PCC

One of the most exciting aspects of Portland Community College (PCC)’s Cascade Campus is its location. Portland features a vibrant cultural and social environment, which is a crucial component of student life at PCC. Cascade offers distinctive events like the Festival of African Films and a self-guided art tour.

Of course, the school has plenty to offer in the way of academics, as well. In fact, PCC Cascade has invested more than $60 million in campus improvements, including the Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building. The campus offers academics for college transfer and career training. Some of its vocational programs are found nowhere else in the Portland Community College system.

PCC Cascade strives to make its opportunities available to the entire community. Its open admissions policy ensures acceptance to anyone who demonstrates the ability to benefit from higher education.

Though tuition at PCC is comparatively low, the school offers a number of financial aid options. Among these is an installment plan that allows you to pay your tuition in small increments.

Today I was going to hear a guest speaker in classroom 121 at Cascade Campus in the Tech Ed building. I am disabled and was made fun of and called names for 15 minutes and this is the truth. Two black ladies did this and this was definitely a racist thing. I did nothing to them and they also proceeded to make fun of me because I am slow. Never had I been talked to this bad at PCC. This happened last year at the #72 bus stop at Albina and Killingsworth. Never had I been treated so bad by classmates. I had been going here for 3 semesters and plan after today 5/14/2014 to never never never ever never never go back it hurts so very bad to be made fun of and I did nothing. They treated me like a piece of garbage and made fun of me a disabled person. The said that I was retarded and said for over 25 years I have never washed my hands at home or at school and made fun of me over and over and over. They also said I had horrible manners and that retarded people have horrible manners. They also for 15 minutes made fun of me when I grabbed two cookies and said I grabbled them like a fat retarded lady. I cannot believe PCC let these people in to the school to attend. Never ever never go to PCC ever because you will run into Robin and Edith and they will make you feel like garbage.
