Colleges in West Virginia

West Virginia, the Mountain State, is home to eleven private universities and colleges, twenty public universities and colleges, and various training academies, technology and proprietary schools. The West Virginia System of Higher Education handles the public colleges, community colleges, and universities. West Virginia offers associate, bachelors, and graduate programs offered at 20 accredited institutions in addition to a variety of subject focused national and international accreditation agencies.
