1. University of Pennsylvania
The University of Pennsylvania has several benefit programs set up for alumni, including an alumni insurance program, Penn Medicine medical services, and discounted rates at the Homewood Suites on campus. Alumni also get discounts at companies like Zipcar, Enterprise and the Philadelphia Theatre Company. Finally, the real selling point: they’ve even made it possible for alumni to purchase Apple products at student discount prices. Now that’s impressive.
2. Vanderbilt University
Vanderbilt University has partnered with Abenity to give alumni access to their awesome discount program, which includes more than $45,000 worth of savings at several different kinds of companies, from Target to Disney World to DirecTV.
3. Iowa State University
Iowa State University offers their alumni national discounts on car rental companies and hotel chains, as well as local discounts on entertainment, stores and restaurants in the area. They even have a web and mobile program called Larky that keeps track of each alum’s discounts and sends alerts when there’s a nearby spot with an offer. 4. University of Memphis
The University of Memphis has partnered up with Savings Connection to snag awesome discounts for alumni. Deals include discounts at national stores like Office Depot and hotels like Best Western, as well as savings at places in the Memphis area like AAA Auto Club, Panera and Weight Watchers. They’ve also set up financial and consumer programs at companies like Liberty Mutual, where alumni can get discounted insurance, and Bank of America, where they can earn rewards on their special University of Memphis credit card. 5. Columbia University
Columbia University is particularly interested in keeping their alumni healthy: They offer short-term medical insurance and a healthcare discount card that gets alumni up to 75 percent off prescription drugs and 50 percent off lab tests. They also have special life, auto, and home insurance options for past students.

Washington State University graduates get to reap the rewards of the school’s awesome alumni benefits program, which has recently grown tenfold. It offers members career support services, discounts at retailers like Office Depot and T-Mobile, savings on insurance, and even access to a special wine club that features alumni wineries from all over the country.
