1. DegreeDirectory.org Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship in Business

The great thing about a marketing degree is that it can allow you to apply for many of the business-related scholarships. One example of this is the DegreeDirectory.org Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship in Business.

Amount: At least $1,000

Eligibility Requirements: Students pursuing a Bachelor's of Marketing Degree as well as business majors, accounting majors and finance majors

Application deadline: April 1

2. ASTA Scholarships

Marketing students interested in working in the travel industry can potentially gain educational funding through the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). ASTA offers a number of scholarships for students who are looking to use their marketing skills in a travel- or tourism-related profession.

Amount: $1,000 to $2,500

Eligibility Requirements: Students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate marketing program with a solid academic record

Application deadline: April 9

3. PRSSA Gary Yoshimura Scholarship

Each year, the Public Relations Student Society of America gives out a number of scholarships. One of the most popular is the Gary Yoshimura Scholarship. In addition to demonstrating financial need, applicants also need to be a member of the PRSSA to be eligible for this scholarship.

Amount: $2,400

Eligibility Requirements: Any college student pursuing a public relations career who is a member of the PRSSA and demonstrates financial need

Application deadline: January 28

4. IFEC Scholarships

If you want to put your marketing skills to use in the foodservice industry, check out the scholarships offered by the International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC). This organization offers scholarships, such as the International Foodservice Editorial Council Annual Scholarship for any student looking to end up in a career relating to promoting the foodservice industry. That includes jobs like providing marketing communications for clients in foodservice. Between 4 and 8 awards in amounts of $500 to $4,000 are awarded each year.

Amount: $500 to $4,000

Eligibility Requirements: Any college student enrolled in an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree program in a marketing-related field

5. William R. Goldfarb Memorial Scholarship

Sometimes good things come in unexpected places. That’s a good way to describe the William R. Goldfarb Memorial Scholarship which is offered by, of all things, the National Association for Amateur Radio. Applicants must demonstrate financial need to get this substantial award, which can be $10,000 or more.

Amount: $10,000 or more

Eligibility Requirements: Any high school senior with an interest in amateur radio and hopes to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, including marketing

Application deadline: February 1

6. DMEF Student Marketing Scholarships

One of the best places for marketing students to start their scholarship search is the Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF). This organization has a goal of making education more accessible to marketing professionals of the future. A number of scholarship funds have been set up in honor of past and present Direct Marketing Association members. Though there are numerous scholarships available, only one application is necessary per student.

Amount: Varies

Eligibility Requirements: Any student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school.

Application deadline: May 31
