Corporate Scholarships

Award: $13,000
Overview: The Walmart Dependent Scholarship is for dependents of any Walmart or Sam’s Club associate and is paid out over four years.
Requirements/Eligibility: Eligible applicants are dependents of Walmart or Sam’s Club associates, high school seniors, home-schooled seniors or earning a GED, have at least a 2.0 GPA and be able to demonstrate financial need.

  • Walmart Scholarship: Walmart Associate Scholarship

Award: Varies
Overview: The Walmart Foundation offers another scholarship for associates who are seeking a degree at an accredited institution of higher learning. The foundation gives out the scholarship four times a year and offers scholarship renewal.
Requirements/Eligibility: Eligible applicants are associates of Walmart or Sam’s Club, based in the US, and must demonstrate financial need and community involvement.

  • Best Buy Scholarship Program

Award: $1,000
Overview: The Best Buy Children’s Foundation serves students with after-school programs, research opportunities and access to technology. Up to 1,200 students are awarded the scholarship per year.
Requirements/Eligibility: Eligible applicants are high school students. Students are chosen based on academic achievement, volunteering, and work experience.

  • Coke Scholarship: Coca-Cola Scholars Program

Award: $10,000 or $20,000
Overview: The Coca-Cola Scholars Program chooses 250 students to receive four-year awards. 50 are honored at the national level and given $20,000, while an additional 200 are selected as Regional Scholars.
Requirements/Eligibility: Eligible applicants are current US citizens who are high school seniors planning to pursue a higher education degree and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants cannot be children or grandchildren of Coca-Cola employees.

  • Pepsi Scholarship: Pepsi ExCEL Scholarships

Award: Varies
Overview: The PepsiCo Foundation ExCEL scholarships provide monetary backing for students who want to study at two- and four-year colleges worldwide. Thousands of students have received the award since 1996.
Requirements/Eligibility: ExCEL scholarships are only available to the children of PepsiCo employees, its divisions, subsidiaries and eligible bottlers.

  • Tylenol Scholarship: Tylenol Future Care Scholarships

Award: $1,000 to $10,000
Overview: The Tylenol Future Care Scholarships are awarded to 40 students who plan to enroll in a health care program. The scholarship is available to both undergraduate and graduate students and was started in 1982.
Requirements/Eligibility: Eligible applicants are citizens of the United States or Puerto Rico and are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at an accredited university in a field related to health care. Applicants must have also completed a year of study by the end of the year they apply and have at least one year remaining. Applicants are judged on leadership qualities and academic performance.
